When you request a BaZi reading, we collect only what is necessary to calculate your chart:
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any identifying information unless you explicitly provide it (e.g., when contacting support).
Your birth data is used solely to:
We do not use your birth data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose other than providing your reading.
Your birth data is never used to train AI models — not ours, not Anthropic's, not any third party's. Readings are generated in real-time and not retained for model improvement.
Your chart data is stored securely in Supabase (PostgreSQL), hosted on servers in the United States. Data is stored with row-level security and is not accessible to other users. We retain chart data indefinitely so you can return to your reading, but you may request deletion at any time by contacting us.
Your data is protected by row-level security (RLS) — no user can access another user's data. Data in transit is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS. Supabase encrypts all PostgreSQL data at rest.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third parties for commercial purposes. Your data may be processed by our infrastructure providers (Supabase, Vercel, Anthropic) solely to operate the service. These providers are bound by their own privacy policies and data processing agreements.
Mingzi is provided for entertainment and self-reflection purposes only. The readings generated by this service do not constitute medical, financial, legal, or professional advice of any kind. No personally identifiable information is associated with your astrological reading in any public or commercial context.
Mingzi does not use advertising cookies or tracking cookies. We may use essential session cookies required for basic site functionality. No cross-site tracking is performed.
You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold about you. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@mingzi.app. We will respond within 30 days.
If you are in Singapore or Malaysia, you have rights under the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). If you are in the EU or UK, you have rights under GDPR. In all cases you may request access, correction, or deletion of your data by emailing privacy@mingzi.app.
